Thirty-ish years ago, there was a girl who loved to draw, tell stories, play in the mud, and go fishing every chance she got. She grew older and went away to art school, where not only did she earn a BFA in illustration, but also said "I do".

Little did she know that soon she’d be a mom to three adventurous and creative kiddos, who reignited a passion for writing, illustration and building forts in the living room. After quite a few sleepless nights and coffee-laced mornings. her first official book, I’d Rather Be a Dragon was born.
